Hi again Emily.
I was reading through the posts and was happy to see some of my family and friends posted some good things here. Keep all the good and valuable things in here for you, and keep putting your good and valuable you and your story out there for us. Recovery from big powerful addictions and life crises taught me to be clean and honest. Loss of people I loved who didn't live through their own struggles taught me to grieve and live on in gratitude and regret. Lenny feels like a big brother who I miss. I relate to his talents mixed with complex dysfunctions and choices. You do him proud for letting his sounds be heard, his greatness seen. Thank you for also including some of his darker side, something we all have. His song sings so brilliantly in a good soul who was easy to love but hard to live with or without. Your life story is mingled closely with his now, something that wasn't with you and him as a kid with her dad. Love what you can have and grieve for what wasn't. Sometimes we're so...human, it takes the deepest and hardest of our life to move us to greater acceptance, surrender, forgiveness, or love. You have enough great in you to be trusted with a complex challenging life. Enjoy the heights you can reach, but treasure the quiet unglamorous unknown unrewarded good done by you, by your dad, for others. You shine with a light that inspires many, and stays approachably normal. In your own way you are a blessing to equal your dad, and I appreciate that very much. Thanks.

Hey Em, Came by to have a look.Just saw Ty From Holt Renfrew wrote on here! I know him! He gets me to go into debt every time I see him! He mentioned your eye brows...yes they are great. I leave mine more full but groomed these days too, but my shape has never recovered from the years of over waxing. A fuller natural brow looks more youthful....you must not have messed with your's too much back in the day when we were all going so thin. Ok onto the less important stuff....the site is looking wonderful and your Dad's playing is brilliant. When was Herbie Hancock in Calgary? hugs, V

My father used to know Lenny and his brother Denny. His name was Steve Tabb, also a musician in Maine. He has since passed away, in 2002. I remember as a young girl Lenny coming to my house to visit my father, and listening to them "jam" together.

Just finished reading "One Long Tune" The Life and Times of Lenny Breau. What an excellent book. The Creator graced the earth with a guitar genius like Lenny to let the world know that he works through people and Lenny was one of those souls... Can't wait for the new DVD. Sure wish that Hollywood can make a full length feature movie of Lenny one day... All the world should know who the Greatest Guitar player was...

My grandfather was Charles Breau, Hal Lone's brother. My mom (Judy Breau) often talks about her cousin Lenny. I am thankful to Emily for her work on these projects. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Lenny, so this way at least I can learn about him and show the information to my son.
